On October 24, 2025, an intellectual property themed seminar titled "Guangzhou-Macao Linkage · New IP Path: Jointly Exploring New Routes for the Internationalization of Intellectual Property Layout in the Greater Bay Area" was held in the Conference Area of Hall C, The Venetian Macao Convention and Exhibition Center. As one of the key events of the 30th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), the seminar is hosted by the Guangzhou Development Zone Intellectual Property Association. It aims to integrate intellectual property topics into the core scenarios of global trade and investment, and promote intellectual property exchanges and cooperation between Guangzhou and Macao.

The seminar was held from 10:00 to 12:00 on the same day with a rich agenda. First, in the leadership speech session, He Jinglin (Deputy to the National People's Congress from the Macao Region and Chairman of the Macao Technology Innovation Association), Zheng Xiaomin (Deputy Director of the Macao Economic and Technological Development Bureau), and Wan Zhong (Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Bureau of Intellectual Property)) delivered speeches successively. Subsequently, Xue Peng (Vice President of EHang Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.), Yi Zaicheng (Professor of the Faculty of Law at Macau University of Science and Technology), and Sheng Shaoqin (Head of Feishu Manufacturing at Feishu Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of ByteDance Group) delivered keynote speeches respectively. They conducted in-depth discussions around topics such as intellectual property safeguarding enterprise overseas expansion, cross-border dispute resolution, and AI implementation and new organizational paradigms.

As a senior expert in the field of intellectual property law, Ling Meishi, partner of our firm, was invited to participate in the key session — the thematic salon. The salon was hosted by Gu Haiwen, Vice President of the Sino-Singapore International Joint Research Institute.
