From May 2 to 6, 2026, the 148th Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) was held at ExCeL London. Funto participated in the event for the fourth consecutive year, exhibiting at Booth No. 1400 with a dedicated professional team. The firm engaged in in-depth exchanges with global intellectual property peers, demonstrating the expertise and distinctive cultural identity of Chinese IP law firms.

Funto Partner Maisy, as a member of the China Subcommittee of INTA’s Anti-Counterfeiting Committee, participated in official Chinese-side meetings and engaged in discussions with representatives from the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the Shanghai People’s Procuratorate. Key topics included the coordination between administrative and criminal enforcement in IP protection, infringement involving enterprise trade names and business identifiers, and bad-faith trademark filings. Maisy also served as moderator of the roundtable luncheon titled “International Approaches to Countering Bad-Faith Trademark Registration”, exchanging insights with global peers on governance strategies addressing bad-faith trademark filings.
During the conference period, partners June, Lin, Maisy, and Galax actively exhibited in the booth, discussing topics of practices in different jurisdiction with IP experts around the world.

Booth No. 1400, centered around the “Little Funto” IP character, incorporated traditional Chinese embroidery elements and kung fu-themed creative souvenirs. By integrating Eastern aesthetics into the international IP exchange environment, the booth attracted significant attention from attendees worldwide and stood out as a distinctive cultural highlight within the exhibition area.

In addition to booth activities, the Funto team actively participated in INTA committee meetings, industry forums, and networking receptions, engaging in extensive exchanges with global IP professionals and further expanding its international cooperation network.
By participating in INTA 2026, Funto further demonstrated its professional capabilities and international outlook in the field of intellectual property, enhancing its brand influence within the global IP community.
Looking ahead, Funto will continue to deepen international exchange and cooperation, providing comprehensive and high-level intellectual property legal services to support the global expansion of Chinese enterprises.
