The International Trademark Association (INTA) is a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and complementary intellectual property to foster innovation and consumer trust. From May 18 to May 22, 2024, the 146th Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) was held as schedule in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. As a global hub for intellectual property practitioners, the annual meeting has attracted over 9,500 in-house legal counsels, experts in intellectual property, government officials and lawyers from around 136 countries and regions.
FUNTO team members, Mrs. Jun He, Mrs. Orange He, Mrs. Maisy Ling, and Mr. Galax Zhang, joined the INTA’s 2024 Annual Meeting and set up a booth (NO. 548) to connect with IP professionals and influential brand owners from around the globe. During the 2024 Annual Meeting, the setting booth of FUNTO featured professionalism and Chinese elements. FUNTOers networked with IP community through fun games, for instance, lucky draw and DIY fans with brush writing, which blended tradition with innovation to lead in valuable connections among colleagues and friends. Moreover, FUNTOers brought a mass of souvenirs with FUNTO characteristic such as bookmarks, totes and FUNTO mugs to the IP friends, which differentiated the booth of FUNTO and deepened the connection with each other.
Meanwhile, FUNTO embarked on a journey of professionalism, collaboration, and the business of innovation. At the booth, FUNTOers had in-depth exchanges of the IP trends and the status quo of IP legislation and justice in China with IP practitioners and brand owners, including the U.S., India, Japan, Spain, South Korea, Brazil, East Africa, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and other countries. Through open and unbiased discussions, FUNTOers shared with them the valuable experience and good achievement in handling complicated IP cases, which help brand owners better protect their IP against unauthorized use. Additionally, FUNTOers were also invited to the reception held by TikTok on the evening of May 19. This event provided a fantastic platform to share our professional experiences and the life ones with IP colleagues and friends. Furthermore, Maisy, as a representative, attended a joint seminar held by INTA and QBPC on May 20, where QBPC experts shared 2023-2024 QBPC top ten IP cases, and the IP protection strategies and experience in China. It is an engaging and insightful panel discussion with QBPC experts working in IP space as we get their perspective on how they see the opportunities and challenges brought by criminal, administrative and civil litigation.
Thanks to the INTA’s 2024 Annual Meeting, FUNTO acquires the hard-earned chance to contact with IP community. Different panel discussions with IP counsels and experts from a range of industries help us decode the IP ecosystem in the era of digital transformation. FUNTOers will continue to delve into the complexities surrounding intellectual property protection in the digital era and do our bit for international intellectual property services.
